Amber’s first publication
Amber Reinsborough published her undergraduate thesis study in the Journal of Experimental Biology on August 14, 2025 where she has shown the different effects that beet juice based de-icers have on larval midge salt and water balance compared with the traditional sodium chloride salts. This is important as municipalities expand the use of organic based de-icers, like beet juice during winter.
